President
Provide leadership and direction to the association. Presides at association meetings. Work closely with and coordinate with the Executive Director, Board Directors, and Board Officers. Sign and submit for execution all necessary contracts with other organizations. Provide certificates of insurance for the performance period of contracts. Strategic planning and key-decision making duties. Uphold association by-laws.
VP
Provide leadership and direction to the association. Preside at meetings if the President is absent. Fulfill the role of the President if he/she is unable. Assist the Board Directors and Officers in completing their duties.
Secretary
Record the minutes of all association meetings. Keep attendance at meetings. Maintain official records of the meetings, and be the curator of records. Assist the Board Directors and Officers in completing their duties.
Treasurer
Manage the income and expenses of the association. Complete and submit an annual financial report at the AGM. Pay all the association’s bills on time, including federal taxes. Calculate and project budgets. Maintain the association’s nonprofit corporation status with the Secretary of State. Assist the Board Directors and Officers in completing their duties.
Judicial
Be the Liaison between the association and referees/referee assignors. Monitor all divisions for send off offenses, and ensure sanctions are served. Monitor all divisions for any conduct that is violent, controversial, and/or in defiance of our player code of conduct. Takes lead as Board Director for all rule changes/modifications. May establish committees to investigate and adjudicate member discipline issues. Assist the Board Directors and Officers in completing their duties.
Director
Serves the Board of Directors by running day to day operations. Manages the association's official website and serves as liaison. Serves the association as its registrar. Schedules all games. Coordinates all field rentals. Coordinates all referee scheduling. Assist the Board Directors and Officers in completing their duties.
Social Media Director
Manage and maintain the association's social media pages. Promote the association and its membership. Receive requests to post, and approve or deny post requests. Assist the Board Directors and Officers in completing their duties.
Commissioners
Serve as the main point of contact for Captains and players in the division. Assist free agents to find a place on a team. Assist new teams to find a place in the division. Be a liaison for the referees assigned to your division’s games. Maintain the win/loss/tie information on the association's official website. Attempt to settle disputes at the lowest level (within the division). Report significant disputes/issues to the Board of Directors and Officers for action. Check new players’ ID for matching photo, DOB, and legal name. Enforce division rules. Recommend sanctions. Monitor guest player pass procedures.
